How’s it going everyone, It’s Coach Jay your “Welsh Wizard”. It’s good to be back in my second home
of Bandera. I had so much fun last year; I flew back over that big pond and came back. Again this
week at camp has been amazing the kids, parents and coaches have been superb, the quality and skill
level of all players is very good with a lot of technical improvement which is excellent to see. I’m
so glad to see so many familiar faces and so many new ones as well. With me being a Coach now for
around six years and playing soccer all my life I can see real potential in Bandera, with the helping
hands of the BYSO all new players will have a great time and a fantastic experience as they meet new
friends and learn about the beautiful game. Well that’s it from me guys, hope to see you all again.

Hi guys this is Coach Adam. Some of you may recognize me from last year as this was my second year doing
the Bandera soccer camp for challenger sports and once again let me just say I had an absolutely fantastic
time here. From the very start we have been welcomed with open arms as we anticipated as the people here
are some of the nicest you could hope to meet. Gene Dickinson and Gerhard Retief do a lot of work behind
the scenes to aid these children with their soccer skills year round and they are definitely a credit to
this organization! Playing soccer for 18 years myself, I see real talent here at Bandera and would encourage
any new players who are interested in learning the beautiful game to come along to Bandera as you will learn
a variety of new soccer skills and meet some new great friends. Hopefully I will be back next year to have
another fantastic camp. All the best to you familiar and new faces I hope to see in the future. KEEP KICKING,
Coach Adam Kilcourse. “The 5th Beatle”

Hello! This here is Coach Mike all the way from England, across the pond. I’d just like to say how much
I enjoyed the camp here in Bandera and what fantastic soccer players I had the pleasure of coaching for
the week. This was my first time in Bandera and I can’t wait to come back and try it all again. Me and my
fellow coaches had lots of fun and were treated so warmly by everyone. If you like to play soccer then the
Bandera Youth Soccer Association is the place for you! It’s open to all ages and not only will you play in
lots of fun games, but you’ll become even better players. So, until next time, keep practicing and
PLAY THE BEAUTIFUL GAME!! Coach Michael “Gonzo Schnooze” Connolly
